Tanvir Mahtab Anik is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from RUET. Prior to that, he completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Science from Notre Dame College, Dhaka and his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in Science from Kushtia Zilla School, Kushtia. His academic interests encompass the core areas of Chemical Engineering, including Material and Energy Balances, Chemical Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Transport Phenomena, Process Design and Reaction Engineering. His research interests include bioprocess engineering, biomass valorization, enzymatic hydrolysis, sustainable process development and process optimization, with a focus on developing environmentally sustainable solutions for industrial applications. He is passionate about engineering education, research and bridging fundamental engineering principles with real-world chemical process industries. His current work emphasizes undergraduate teaching, academic collaboration and advancing research in sustainable chemical engineering.
